Dyersville Yoga Studio’s Re-opening! 

Students are now able to join the Tuesday evening and Thursday morning classes in the studio (limited class size)  Soon, I hope to open up the Wednesday evening class - depending on recommendations for use of yoga props.   

Please note that live stream classes via Zoom will continue for the foreseeable future.

As the studio prepares to reopen, I want to share some of the steps I will take to ensure everyone’s safety to the best of my ability:

 *I will follow state, local, and CDC guidelines.  I am also following recommendations for best practices offered by Yoga Alliance, a yoga professional organization.
 *I will begin with a very limited schedule and slowly add based on attendance and other factors.
 *The Studio will be cleaned and sanitized between each class! I will also use essential oils during classes that are said to help purify the air.  
 *I have mapped out the studio for placement of mats to ensure adequate social distancing of 6+ feet between each student. 
 *Face masks are not mandatory and will be left to the discretion of each student.  I recommend wearing a mask upon entering/leaving the studio where people might gather or bottleneck in the hallway, (may be closer than 6 feet of distance from others) then each student can decide whether or not to wear a mask during class while maintaining a 6+-foot physical distance.  I will not wear a mask to teach the class.  If you are not comfortable with others choosing not to wear a mask, the online live stream option will be best for you for at this time.
 *Anyone with symptoms of illness is required to refrain from coming to the studio. Likewise, if you have had any contact with someone who is sick or has any symptoms, I ask you to refrain from the in-studio class. If you live with or have close contact with someone who is immunocompromised, please refrain from in-studio classes.
 *Initially all in-studio classes will be limited to a max of 7 students. 
Due to limited class size, sign-up is required online prior to attending classes.  If fewer than 2 students are signed up 5 hours prior to a class, the in-studio class will be canceled. 
*No drop-in students will be admitted at this time without prior approval and IF there are openings available.  Please watch Facebook "Dyersville Yoga Studio" page for openings that can be filled prior to class.
 *Please show up 10-15 minutes before class.  No-shows may be charged for the class if space could have been filled by another on a wait list.  
*PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MAT AND ANY PROPS YOU MIGHT NEED.  At this time, my studio props will go into storage until the advisory against their use is lifted.  (A limited number of used blocks will be offered for sale!)  


CLASSES SCHEDULE - (REGISTER FOR ONLINE CLASS OR RESERVE A SPOT IN-STUDIO HERE)
*Tuesday evening - 5:30-6:45 PM - YOGA 
An all-levels practice to stretch, invigorate, balance, and integrate energy in the body.  Class size online unlimited, in-studio limited to 6 students. Please bring your own props for the in-studio class.

*Wednesday evening - 6-7:15 PM -PEACEFUL EVENING STRETCH+RESTORE   
Deep stretch and tension release. Use your own props at home or easily improvise with folded blankets, towels, sofa pillows, etc.  You'll love this practice!  

*Thursday morning - 9-10 AM - GENTLE YOGA 
Gentle flowing practice. Please bring your own props for the in-studio class.    

Reserve your spot or request class links prior to the actual class time.  For online classes, I will email a Zoom link that you will use to enter the class streamed live to your device (cellphone, tablet, laptop).  Before you attend a live streamed class, download the Zoom Meetings app to your device and create an account.  It's FREE and takes just a few minutes.  Once you request a link for the class, I will send the link which you will use to "enter" the class on your Zoom app.  Plan to enter the online class at least 5-10 minutes early.

Payment
The class price is $10 by the following methods:
1. Punch from your pre-existing punchcard  (12-class Punchcards can be purchased for $100 and can be used for any class online or in the studio) 
2. Venmo Karen@Karen-Kramer-6 
3. Check made out to Karen Kramer Yoga mailed to Dyersville Yoga Studio, 103 5th St. SE, Dyersville, IA 52040

Please note that if you have been impacted financially by the COVID-19 pandemic, we can work out an arrangement for in-kind or "pay it forward"  with the intention of energy exchange for the class you receive.
