You've probably already heard...
This is the Final Week at Dyersville Yoga Studio
Dear Friends & Yogis,
Saying good-bye is difficult for me. As I prepare to close the physical studio in Dyersville know that I feel huge waves of gratitude along with sadness. I am thankful for YOU, for sharing the connection and community of yoga, for trusting me as your teacher and guide, for a shared commitment to greater well-being, for the fun, the joy of knowing you, and for all of us getting to know a new group of people even better. Personally, it has also been a learning experience I never dreamed I'd overcome in terms of business and media skills-building to bring this studio to you.
"Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow."
October 2020 marked my 17th year as a certified yoga teacher and I continue my yoga teaching journey at Body & Soul, where I've taught since it opened in 2004. Now, during this pandemic, all classes are online with live classes via Zoom or recordings to practice at your convenience. I hope you consider a membership or a couple of drop-in classes with me or any of the fabulous yoga and fitness teachers who might inspire you. You can get more information here at BODY & SOUL WELLNESS CENTER.
I hope you continue to follow me on Facebook (the name may change to Karen Kramer Yoga) and visit my website where I plan blog more about what inspires me as I study yoga practice and philosophy more in-depth, and where I will announce "POP-UP" classes and workshops, and let you know about other events that are happening.
Know that on this Thanksgiving Day I will send loads of gratitude your way and hopes for your well-being. May we see each other again - in person or in a class - very soon!

COVID-19 & Special notice for public classes:
*I will follow state, local, and CDC guidelines. I am also following recommendations for best practices offered by Yoga Alliance, a yoga professional organization.
*I will begin with a very limited schedule and slowly add based on attendance and other factors.
*The studio will be cleaned and sanitized between each class! I will also use essential oils during classes that are said to help purify the air.
*I have mapped out the studio for placement of mats to ensure adequate social distancing of 6+ feet between each student.
*Face masks are mandatory in and out of the studio beginning Nov. 18 but during the physical practice it will be left to the discretion of each student. I will not wear a mask to teach the class. If you are uncomfortable with others choosing to NOT wear a mask during the physical practice, the online live stream option will be best for you for at this time.
*Anyone with symptoms of illness is required to refrain from coming to the studio. Likewise, if you have had any contact with someone who is sick or has any symptoms, I ask you to refrain from the in-studio class. If you live with or have close contact with someone who is immunocompromised, please refrain from in-studio classes.
*Anyone who has traveled internationally or to a “hot spot” in the US, are asked to wait 14 days before coming to in-studio classes and opt for the Zoom live stream platform instead.
*Initially all in-studio classes will be limited to a max of 6 students.
Due to limited class size, sign-up is required online prior to attending classes. If fewer than 2 students are signed up 5 hours prior to a class, the in-studio class will be canceled.
*No drop-in students will be admitted at this time without prior approval and IF there are openings available. Please watch Facebook "Dyersville Yoga Studio" page for openings that can be filled prior to class.
*Please show up 10-15 minutes before class. No-shows may be charged for the class if space could have been filled by another on a waitlist.
*PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MAT AND ANY PROPS YOU MIGHT NEED. At this time, my studio props will go into storage until the advisory against their use is lifted. (A limited number of used blocks will be offered for sale!)
